Sturgeon Lake

Sturgeon lake is located north of Ignace, Ontario on Highway #599. It is 52 miles long and with its many islands, bays and creeks, the fishing is at its best. Stugeon Lake is well konwn for its fantstic lake trout fishing as well as the popular walleye and Northern Pike. Winter ice fishing is fun on Sturgeon lake. Tourism Ontario refers to Sturgeon Lake as a “World class Fishery,” and that it is. Sturgeon Lake is one of those lakes where a fisherman “Gets Hooked!”
